Plain black, end to end

Only black is used: a fine round braid with no stripe, fleck or metallic thread. Three views are photographed: the cord wound on the grey card, a strand trailing from it, and a macro of the strand at the card edge. It is the only solid black cord in the family; the other black designs carry white in a stripe or zigzag, or gold metallic thread.

Does the plain black cord have any stripe or metallic thread?
