Factory-direct from Jaipur since 1991 shipping to 60+ countries every inquiry answered within 1 working day

Rachit Pareek

Rachit Pareek is the second-generation owner-director of Saras Udyog, a cord, rope, ribbon and trim factory in Jaipur, India, running since 1991. He grew up on the factory floor and now runs the plant his family built — twisting, braiding, dyeing and finishing narrow textiles under one roof and shipping them wholesale to buyers in more than 60 countries.

What he does

Day to day, Rachit works across the whole line: rope twisting and cabling, braiding, an in-house matched-shade dye house, and the tipping and aglet machines that finish shoelaces and drawcords. That hands-on span — raw fibre to a finished, dyed, packed order — is unusual for a supplier this size, and it is why he can speak to how these products are actually made rather than only sold.

What he can speak to

Rachit is available to journalists, editors and podcast hosts for first-hand comment on:

  • Textile and cordage manufacturing in India, and running an integrated narrow-fabric factory
  • Sourcing from India — MOQs, lead times, sampling and export logistics for craft and garment supply
  • Cotton versus synthetic cord, colour-fastness and matched-shade dyeing, explained from the bench
  • The manufacturing side of the global macrame and slow-craft revival
  • Second-generation family manufacturing, and moving a domestic workshop into export markets
