We have woven webbing in our Jaipur factory since 1991 — 10 mm to 100 mm wide, plain or striped, supplied by the roll. The natural undyed webbing is cotton; every dyed shade is spun polyester, finished to look and feel like cotton; polypropylene completes the range. It goes to bag handles, luggage, furniture and light strapping. Weaving, dyeing and end-tipping are all done in-house. MOQ is 1,000 metres — about 1,094 yards — per SKU, and quotes come back within one working day.
In our factory in Jaipur, Rajasthan, we have been weaving webbing since 1991, from 10 mm to 100 mm wide, plain or striped. The natural undyed webbing is cotton; the dyed shades are spun polyester, finished to look and feel like cotton; polypropylene completes the range. Weaving, dyeing and end-tipping are all done under our own roof, and we export to more than 60 countries.
Which Webbing for Your Bags, Luggage or Furniture?
The fibre follows the use and the finish.
Natural undyed — cotton. It never goes through the dye bath, so cotton is what we use for it, with the natural hand that leather-goods makers look for. It is the choice when you want the natural material, and the one that is appreciated in high-end leather goods work.
Every dyed shade — spun polyester, finished matte so it keeps the look and the hand of cotton. Low elongation, colour that holds up in sunlight and good abrasion resistance: this is the fibre that dominates in luggage. The dyeing is ours, which is what keeps the baths consistent from one roll to the next.
Polypropylene — lighter and more economical, and it handles damp well, which suits outdoor furniture and other exposed uses. On repeat volumes we also weave the webbing in another fibre to your specification.
Widths run from 10 mm — keepers, loops and small leather goods — up to 100 mm for seat bottoms and reinforcement webbing. Plain or striped is your choice: our stripes are woven rather than printed, and they stay crisp after years of use.
Certified heavy-duty load restraint — rated ratchet straps for road transport — is not our line, and we would rather tell you before the quote than after. Our webbing covers light strapping: holding, storage and fastening where no certification is required.
How an Order From Jaipur Works
Send us your specifications — fibre, width, shade, and a physical sample if you have one — and a quote comes back within one working day.
Minimum — 1,000 metres, about 1,094 yards, per SKU, where a SKU is one fibre in one width in one shade. Several SKUs can travel in one shipment, which keeps the freight cost down; each is quoted at the minimum.
Approval — production starts once you have approved the sample or the shade, and not before.
Transit — air 7-14 days, sea 25-40 days. Air suits launches and urgent top-ups; sea suits regular volume, at a markedly lower cost per metre.
Because the weaving, the dyeing and the end-tipping are all under our own roof, we control the production schedule from end to end.

What is the minimum order for wholesale webbing by the roll?
1,000 metres — about 1,094 yards — per SKU, where a SKU is one fibre in one width in one shade. It counts per SKU rather than per order, so two widths in the same shade is 2,000 metres. Several SKUs can be combined in one shipment to keep the freight cost down, and each is quoted at its own 1,000 m minimum.
How much does webbing cost by the roll?
₹4-15 per metre ex-works Jaipur. Width sets most of it: 10 mm tape webbing sits near the floor, 100 mm seat webbing near the ceiling, with woven stripes adding a set-up. Polypropylene runs cheaper than cotton or spun polyester at the same width.
Which fibre should I choose — natural cotton, polyester or polypropylene?
Natural undyed is cotton: the choice when you want the natural material, with the hand that high-end leather goods work looks for. As soon as you need a colour, the webbing is spun polyester, finished matte so it keeps the look and hand of cotton — strong, UV-stable, low elongation, and the shade repeats identically on a reorder. Polypropylene is lighter and more economical, and suits outdoor furniture and uses exposed to damp. On repeat volumes we also weave the webbing in another fibre to your specification.
What widths do you weave?
10 mm to 100 mm. At 10 mm the webbing goes to keepers, loops and small leather goods; at 100 mm it is seat bottoms and reinforcement webbing. Across the range it goes to bag handles, luggage, furniture and light strapping.
Are the stripes woven or printed?
Woven. Plain or striped is your choice, and because the stripes are woven rather than printed they stay crisp after years of use.
How long does delivery take from Jaipur?
Allow 7 to 14 days by air and 25 to 40 days by sea from our Jaipur factory. The quote comes back within one working day, and production starts once you have approved the sample or the shade.
Is your webbing suitable for certified load restraint?
No. Certified heavy-duty load restraint — rated ratchet straps for road transport — is not part of our offer, and we would rather say so before the quote than after. Our webbing is made for leather goods, luggage, furniture and light strapping where no certification is required.
Is this niwar / belt patti for bags and furniture?
Cotton webbing is what the trade also calls niwar or belt patti — the flat woven strap used for bag handles, belts and cot weaving, 10 mm to 100 mm wide. We weave it in Jaipur at 1,000 metres per SKU, natural or dyed to your shade.
