How minimum order quantities work
Minimums are set per SKU, not per order. Anything sold by length (cord, rope, tape, ribbon) starts at 1,000 metres per SKU. Finished goods such as shoelaces and curtain tie-backs are sold by the piece or the pair, from 5,000 up. 1,000 m is about 1,094 yards.
On most lines a SKU is one combination of size, construction and shade, so each colour and each size has to reach the minimum on its own. You can put several SKUs in one order. For example:
- Five shades of the same cord in one size is five SKUs: 5 × 1,000 m = 5,000 m in total.
- Shoelaces in three colours need 5,000 pairs of each: 3 × 5,000 = 15,000 pairs, not 5,000 split three ways.

Custom colours
Dyeing is done in-house. The product pages say shades are matched to your physical swatch or a Pantone or colour reference. See, for example, the satin ribbon, shoelace and cotton rope pages. On several lines a lab dip (a small dyed sample of your shade) is sent for approval before the bulk lot is dyed, including macrame cord, cotton yarn and embroidery thread.
On most cord, rope, tape and lace lines the natural, undyed version is cotton, and every dyed shade is spun polyester finished to look and feel like cotton. Some lines use other fibres, such as jute, nylon-spandex fold over elastic and polyester satin ribbon. Each product page states its own fibre.
Samples before bulk
Samples come before bulk. The sample is a physical cutting of the exact construction and colour, made and couriered for a ₹3,800 + GST sampling charge before any bulk order. Nothing goes into bulk production until you have approved that sample in your hand. For some made-up goods, such as tassels and drawstring bags, a counter-sample is made for your approval before production.
If you want to match a product you already buy, send a photograph with something for scale next to it, such as a coin or a ruler. If you can, also post us a short length. From a physical cutting the fibre, the number of plies or carriers, the twist direction and the finished diameter can be read directly.
How to ask for a quote
- Quote basket. Use Add to quote on each product page you need. Then open the quote page, list quantities, and add your company, name and email. WhatsApp number, delivery country, port or city, the month you need it and notes are optional. Send it on WhatsApp or by email, or copy the enquiry. No account is needed.

The quote gives a price per metre, kilo, piece or pair against your spec, with the put-up and packing it would ship on. If your spec is ambiguous, the quote is for the nearest standard construction and says so.
Prices are ex-works Jaipur. Export orders are quoted with air and sea options. Orders at or near the minimum normally go by courier and volume orders go by sea. Give the destination port or city and both options can go in the same quote.
What to send
To get a usable price in the first reply, include:
- Product and spec, e.g. “3-ply twisted cotton macrame cord, 4mm, natural”.
- Quantity per SKU: metres, kg, pieces or pairs for each colour and size, not just a total.
- Destination: country and city, or port for sea freight.
- Timeline: when you need it landed.
- Reference: a photo or a physical length of what you want matched, if you have one.
For cord, add the six lines from how to specify a cord: fibre, construction, ply or carrier count, finished diameter, colour standard and put-up. For shoelaces, send the construction, width, length, colour and tip style (see the shoelace length chart). For trims sold by width, state the width in millimetres, and use the ribbon width chart or the cord size chart to convert inch sizes.
Questions
Is the minimum order per order or per SKU?
Per SKU. Products sold by length start at 1,000 m per SKU, and finished goods such as shoelaces and curtain tie-backs start at 5,000 pieces or pairs. On most lines each size, construction and shade is a separate SKU.
Can I mix colours and sizes in one order?
Yes, as long as each colour and each size reaches the minimum on its own. Five shades of one cord means 5 × 1,000 m; three colours of shoelaces means 3 × 5,000 pairs.
Do you send a sample before bulk production?
Yes. A physical cutting of the exact construction and colour is made and couriered for a ₹3,800 + GST sampling charge, and nothing goes into bulk until you have approved it.
